Album Description : GRIMUS – Debut UK Single STARTED – Out on Eden Music 9th August 2010. Brand new, Berkshire based, DIY record label/production company Eden Music are pleased to announce that Grimus will be flying into the UK from 7th August to launch their debut UK single Started.

When Eden producer Adam Whittaker first heard Grimus on Myspace he was blown away. He knew that, with him being based in the UK and the band being based in Romania, it wasn’t going to be easy to make a record but this didn’t stop him. A few weeks later Adam’s mix of In a Glimpse was a number 1 radio hit. The single Started was then recorded in the UK and Romania and mastered in the US.A trip to Transylvania to see the band play live also showed how music is sold in Romania and it isn’t! There’s no iTunes, scant indie music in the shops and piracy is rife. There are a lot of hugely talented bands and even more kids that want to buy their music, but can’t.

Eden and their distribution company Believe Digital have been working tirelessly to ensure that they can get the music back to the fans, and are delighted that Grimus single Started WILL be available in Romania!

The Romanian Cultural Institute in London have been incredibly supportive right from the start of this project, as have the local BBC Introducing team, and the local council in Reading have also been very welcoming.

GRIMUS will be launching the single ‘STARTED’ at the Romanian Cultural Institute in London, with an exclusive invite only acoustic set and press conference.
