My Brothers Banned, best known for melodic upbeat songs with lush layers of harmony, has crafted a dark moody song that has gut level drive.
While the trademark layered instrumentation and vocal harmonies are present, the jangly 12 string joy has been replaced with a sly ominous groove.
"The Drive" is a prerelease single from MBB's upcoming 4th album "Meet me in the Park". Instead of tight unison harmonies, this song features added staggered and echoed female voices punctuated with sharp guitar accents. Backwards guitar adds to the spooky ambiance and the tight snare snap maintains the driving march. This song sticks to the ribs and calls for repeat plays.


"My Brothers Banned" is based in the NY's lower hudson valley north of NYC. "Off White Trash Studios" is run as a community collective.
Owned by Lyle Puente, artists are allowed to record free of charge. The goal is to create a community of musicians that support each others goals and projects.
