SAN FRANCISCO - Dropping 'X' in clubs everywhere, pop music singer/songwriter Xavier Toscano's sophomore album strives to make dance the drug of choice for 2010. Last year, his debut effort 'Mighty Real,' an homage to the legendary Sylvester, produced a high energy title track that became a top ten hit on Logo's Click List and remains a featured track on their website. URB Magazine raved that 'dancer/singer Xavier Toscano has emerged as one of pop's most promising defendants, seeking to refute the haters' misconceptions about the genre with his edgy dance-oriented tunes.'

For his lastest effort, Toscano found himself inspired even more by his experience as a dancer. The album features ten songs written by Toscano set to high energy tracks provided by independent producer cHouse. The album is full of dynamic beats, vibrant vocals, catchy lyrics, and a focus on fun. It was recorded at Baysounds with producer Leo Frappier, known with his work with artists such as Jeanie Tracy, Kristine W., Crystal Gayle, Nina Hagen, Debby Holiday, Nikki Harris/Perry Twins, and even Sylvester himself.

The album is dance-oriented but with a distinct urban flair that reflects Toscano's multicultural upbringing in the San Francisco Bay Area. Strands of hip hop, R&B, and latin music are blended with the influences of pop icons such as Michael Jackson, Prince, Madonna, and Lauryn Hill.

The album's lead single "Do It All Tonight" evokes sweaty dance floors and wild nights hanging with friends. Other notable tracks include synth-laden tribute to fame "Smoke & Mirrors," sexy road trip anthem "Take A Ride," the soulful 'Threw Me Away,' and the playfully boastful "Getcha Shades."

Xavier Toscano will be touring the Bay Area all summer in support of the new album. A sexy new video for 'Do It All Tonight' has just been released, and the song is currently in rotation on the internet radio stations including: radiovenom.org; edgeradioshow.com; earbits.com; danceradio.ca; nrrradio.com; partyradiousa.net; wildsideradio.com; and idanceradio.fm.
